Biography

Dr. Gregory Murad Reis is an Associate Teaching Professor at FIU’s Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences, an Environmental Finance Fellow, and an Affiliated Faculty in the FIU Institute of Environment. With over 20 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Computer Science, he specializes in Marine Robotics, Environmental Monitoring, AI, Data Science, and STEM Education. Dr. Reis has mentored over 50 students and contributed to more than $6 million in research grants. He is dedicated to advancing STEM education, particularly in K-12 robotics, and has earned several awards, including FIU’s 2022 Best Teaching Award.
