Biography

Michael Robinson is an Associate Teaching Professor at the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences at Florida International University (FIU). His research interests focus on bioinformatics, genomic databases, data mining, virtual machines, and distributed systems. With experience in both teaching and research, he has developed numerous algorithms and frameworks in bioinformatics, particularly related to processing and analyzing genomic data. Dr. Robinson is also an active member of academic societies and has published various papers on topics like data structures for genomic sequences and the application of distributed computing.
