Micro-credentials:
  • Cyberinfrastructure Security for Public Service: Developed within the College of Engineering and Computing and the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs, this badge recognizes fundamental knowledge of cyberinfrastructure, its vulnerability vectors, and attacks towards cyberinfrastructure in local government and non-profit organizations. Earners will understand how to mitigate issues including ransomware attacks.

 

  • Cyberinfrastructure Security Governance: Developed within the Department of Public Policy and Administration, this badge provides learners with fundamental knowledge about cybersecurity governance. Earners can apply management and leadership skills; identify cybersecurity framework (e.g., zero-trust) components and different types of ransomware attacks; and understand appropriate risk management strategies. Earners of this badge are equipped with valuable tools to be prepared for, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity events.
