    Dr. Hemang Subramanian is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Business Analytics at FIU. His research focuses on Information Systems Economics, particularly in marketplaces and high value/high volume transaction-based systems, employing econometrics, qualitative analysis, and design science research methods. Recent studies include IT security, IT entrepreneurship, venture capital investments, blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption, IoT in healthcare, and user-generated content. Dr. Subramanian holds a Ph.D. in ITM from the Scheller College of Business, Georgia Tech, an EPBM from IIM Calcutta, an M.S. in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani, and a B.E. in Computer Engineering from NITK, Suratkal, India.
