“Computer Science for High School” (CS4HS) Workshop
at FIU Discovery Lab, June 13-15, 2013
CS4HS (Computer Science for High School) is a Google sponsored program to promote computer science and computational thinking in the high school curriculum. FIU Discovery Lab, led by Dr. Iyengar, has received a 2013 CS4HS grant from Google’s Education Group, and is delighted to offer a 3-day, hands-on workshop to regional high-school computer science, mathematics, and technology teachers/students. The goals are to provide teachers/students with: (1) ideas they can immediately include into their teaching/learning; (2) a forum to share approaches with each other; and (3) ideas and support for advancement in computer science teaching and learning…
