    Dr. Selcuk Uluagac is an Eminent Scholar Chaired Professor at Florida International University’s Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Science, where he leads the Cyber-Physical Systems Security Lab. He holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering. He previously worked as a Senior Researcher at Georgia Tech and Symantec and earned his PhD from Georgia Tech and MS from Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Uluagac is an expert in cybersecurity and privacy, focusing on practical aspects like systems security, malware, ransomware, forensics, IoT, and CPS. He has published extensively and received numerous awards, including the NSF CAREER and Google’s ASPIRE Research Award. His research, funded by agencies like NSF, DoE, AFRL, Google, and Microsoft, has led to over ten patents. He is actively involved in top security conferences and serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IEEE TIFS and associate editor for IEEE TMC and Elsevier COMNET journals.
