    Dr. Xueping (Susan) Liang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Florida International University. She earned her Ph.D. in 2019 from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and her B.S. in 2013 from Beijing Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on cybersecurity, blockchain, AI/machine learning, data provenance, and privacy protection. She designs distributed consensus models for blockchain, uses AI to improve cyber-resilience in healthcare and IoT, and addresses security issues in cloud computing. Dr. Liang has published over 30 papers and book chapters, and her work has been recognized with the “Top 50 Influential Papers in Blockchain” award at the BlockchainConnect Conference in 2019. Her research has been supported by the Office of Naval Research and NSF IUCRC.
