Dr. Xuyu Wang is an Assistant Professor at the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences at FIU. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at California State University, Sacramento. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Auburn University in 2018. Dr. Wang’s research focuses on wireless sensing, IoT, wireless localization, smart health, wireless networks, and AI security. He has received the NSF CRII Award (2021) and numerous accolades, including the IEEE INFOCOM 2022 Best Demo Award, IEEE ICC 2022 Best Paper Award, and the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society 2020 Jack Neubauer Memorial Award. He has organized AI health tutorials at major conferences and is an editor for the Elsevier book “Contactless Vital Signs Monitoring” and journals like Elsevier Digital Communications and Networks and ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks.
