    Dr. Yan Chen is an associate professor and faculty director for the MBA in Cybersecurity Risk Management at Florida International University. She earned her Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Her research focuses on information security, online fraud, security management, and social media. Dr. Chen has published over 40 papers in top journals, including *MIS Quarterly*, *Journal of Management Information Systems*, and *Information Systems Research*. She has received research scholarships, and best paper award nominations, and serves as a reviewer for leading IS journals and conferences. She was appointed Ryder MIS Eminent Scholar Endowment Chair in August 2021.
